Executive Directors
Jacob Brodovsky and Lexie Yurman are lifelong second generation BB Campers. They have been spending their summers at camp for over 20 years, and became co-Executive Directors of the organization in 2020.
Jacob and Lexie (or Jake and Lex, as they’re known by staff and campers) are passionate about working with youth, the transformative nature of outdoor experiences, and ensuring that camp is an inclusive and welcoming place for all participants. In addition to camp, Jacob and Lexie spent many years working various outdoor education and leadership facilitation jobs, taking them everywhere from Northern Manitoba, to rural Ghana.
Jacob and Lexie firmly believe that spending time at an overnight summer camp is one of the most impactful formative experiences a young person can have and feel incredibly grateful to continue their careers together in this field.
