Driving to and from Camp

You will be driving on the Trans Canada Highway No. 1 East for approx. 2 ½ hours (past Falcon Lake, West Hawk, Clearwater Bay).  Take the “Exit to Kenora” road.  You will pass through the former town of Keewatin).

A lovely drive - take some snacks and plenty of car trip games for your passengers.

For Pick Ups and Drops Offs

Once you arrive into the city of Kenora you will be on Main Street.  Proceed down Main Street until you reach the end of the street and have reached the docks.  Shoppers Drug Mart will be on the driver's left side.  There are metered parking along the docks and campers should unload luggage at the docks and check in with the camp staff.

For Extended Stays

Once you arrive into the city of Kenora you will be on Main Street.  Proceed down Main Street until you reach the last set of lights.  Turn left and proceed down the street until you see the Shell Station turn right (Fourth Ave). Drive down the street and at the end of the street, turn left.  You will see the hotel on the passenger’s side and the Kenora Rec Centre on the driver’s side.

The BB Camp staff and boats will be awaiting your arrival at the Kenora Rec Centre.  Drive to the back and one person must go inside to purchase the overnight parking pass ($7.91/night – includes HST).  If you arrive after 4pm, go to the aquatics desk to purchase the parking pass.  Put the parking pass face up on the inside of your dashboard.

Drive around the building (you will drive through the narrow lane between the building and the baseball fields).  Drive to the end and on your right you will see the boat dock.  Unload all luggage and passengers and carry all luggage onto the ground until the camp staff advise you to move it into the camp boat.  The Camp staff will greet you at the Rec Centre dock.   DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES INSIDE THE CAR.
