Frequently Asked Questions 

 

Do you have early drop-off / late pick-up options?

Yes, day camp campers may be dropped off at the Main Street boat dock in Kenora beginning at 8:30 am Monday- Friday.  There is no fee assessed for early drop-off.  Playmore Day Camp also offers extended stay from 4:00 - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday for a flat fee of $35.00/week.  Parents must register for extended care at the time of registration.

 

My child isn't the right age but s/he really wants to come.  Can you make an exception?

Possibly.  Please contact the Camp at 204.477.7512 to discuss whether your child is able to independently attend and be comfortable spending a full day at Camp.

 

Where does Day Camp take place?

We are based out of B'nai Brith Camp's resident site - Town Island.

 

Do you provide snacks and lunch?

Please send a nut-free lunch and one snack (morning) with your child.  Playmore Day provides a daily afternoon snack.  Campers are asked to also bring a water bottle (please make sure the bottle notes your child's name). 

 

What items should my child bring to Camp?

Campers are asked to bring their own lifejacket (if possible) and to wear comfy outdoor clothing, sunhat, sunscreen, bathing suit, towels water bottle, nut-free lunch and snack,rain jacket (on rainy days) and a backpack.  All items should be labelled with child's name.  Campers should wear shoes that stay on and can get wet (no flip flop).   The Camp provides all recreational equipment for campers to use.
